Thursday diaries

Thursday and all the politicians are moving into town. The lines of limousines are growing longer as they puff smoke from their shiny tailpipes into the cold Poznan air – I mean, the limousines that is.
Woke up at 2 pm in the Sheraton, had a shower and stumbled down for buffet breakfast. My jeans seems to have shrunk. Filled up the plate with bacon, eggs and chocolate cake left over from someone's birthday.
None of us in the group are speaking to one another.
Last night we were at the SQ Club, Kukaburra, Cute – I dunno, it’s all a blur. All I know is that after the week it’s ended badly, none of us able to agree on which nightclub to go to or how much to drink, Xao and Gupta’s behaviour unconscionable. Jonah from Tuvalu was beside himself with worry but eventually behaving as bad as anyone. Jim from San Francisco was trying to get everyone to make-up, but if there’s one thing we agree on it’s this: we’re all sick of Jim who claims to have no money.
We were drunk, and soon we were going our separate ways. We can’t agree on anything.
The weather is making us depressed. At the start of the conference, some protesters put up some ice sculptures outside. At this rate they’ll still be here until next June.
Word is that the Europeans are arguing for another meeting here next year before Copenhagen. Idiots! Can anyone tell me what was wrong with Bali?
Went back to the hotel room to watch CNN as the sleet dripped down the window, matching my mood. Pulled the blinds and went back to sleep.
